Md. Nazmul Huda is the member of parliament (MP) in the 13th Parliament for Meherpur-2 (Gangni). He entered Parliament for the first time as the candidate nominated by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
He was born on 19 September 1958 in Gangni upazila of Meherpur district. His father is Md. Altaf Hossain and his mother Mst. Nurunnahar Begum. He is a businessman by profession.
In local government, Nazmul Huda has served as chairman of the Gangni upazila parishad. In the party he is a member of the Shura and working committee of the Meherpur district Jamaat-e-Islami.
In the election held on 12 February 2026 he was elected MP for Meherpur-2 with 96,306 votes under the scales symbol.
