Dr Ekramul Bari Tipu is the member of parliament (MP) in the 13th Parliament for Naogaon-4, a seat made up of Manda upazila. A physician by profession, he entered Parliament for the first time as the candidate nominated by the BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party).

He was born on 1 March 1965 in Manda upazila of Naogaon district. His father's name is Mofiz Uddin Mollah and his mother's name is Khatejan Bewa.

He completed his MBBS degree at Rajshahi Medical College, under the University of Rajshahi, and obtained a postgraduate degree from Dhaka Shishu (Children's) Hospital.

In politics, Ekramul Bari Tipu has served as chairman of the Manda upazila parishad. Before the election he was a member of the Manda upazila BNP. He was one of the twelve physicians the BNP nominated for the 13th parliamentary election. In the election on 12 February 2026 he was elected with 133,928 votes under the sheaf of paddy symbol. The Jamaat-e-Islami candidate for the seat, Md. Abdur Rakib, received 97,585 votes.
