Md. Shamsur Rahman Simul Biswas is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party member of the 13th Parliament elected from Pabna-5.

Md. Shamsur Rahman Simul Biswas is the member of parliament (MP) in the 13th Parliament for Pabna-5 (Pabna Sadar). He entered Parliament for the first time as the candidate nominated by the BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party). In Parliament he has been made chair of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

He was born on 3 July 1958. His father is Azizul Islam Biswas and his mother Shefali Begum.

A lawyer by profession, Simul Biswas was special assistant to BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. In 2004 he was appointed chairman of the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, and during his tenure the loss-making corporation became profitable. In the party he serves as chief coordinator of the Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal.

In the election held on 12 February 2026 he was elected MP for Pabna-5 with 181,925 votes under the sheaf of paddy symbol.
