In the July 2024 mass uprising, as a front-line coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, she played an important role in organising female students. When the NCP was launched on 28 February 2025 she became a joint convener of the party, and she was given the post of chief organiser of Jatiya Nari Shakti, formed in March 2026. Terms in Parliament
According to the Parliament Secretariat, she has been elected an MP once. Parliament’s database holds the records of the 4th, 5th and 7th to 12th Parliaments; it has no lists for the 1st to 3rd and the 6th, so an earlier term in those, if any, does not appear here.
