Miah Nuruddin Ahmad Apu is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party member of the 13th Parliament elected from Shariatpur-3.
Miah Nuruddin Ahmad Apu is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) member of parliament elected from Shariatpur-3 and a Whip in the 13th Parliament. This is his first term in Parliament. He also serves as a member of the House Committee, the Special Committee and the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Nuruddin Apu was born on 1 October 1974 in Kodalpur union, Gosairhat upazila, Shariatpur district. His father is Mia Chan Mridha and his mother Amena Begum.
He has long been involved in politics. He has served as private secretary to BNP chairman Tarique Rahman. He was the BNP candidate for Shariatpur-3 in the 2018 election to the 11th Parliament.
In the 13th parliamentary election held on 12 February 2026, he was elected MP for the first time, with 107,516 votes under the sheaf of paddy symbol. The President later appointed him a Whip of Parliament.
